Breastfeed Proudly has been designed with input from breastfeeding mothers to provide you with a tool to find places that welcome breastfeeding. The map displays all the places that have previously been reviewed by other mothers.
You will be able to see these reviews based on whether the staff was welcoming, the seating was comfortable, the noise level was acceptable and whether the place was non-smoking. You can also see and add comments about this location.
If you can’t find places near you or have found a new spot, you can add this new place, for others to see! Locating the place and address details on the map is very easy.
Breastfeed Proudly is part of a research project based at the American University of Beirut in collaboration with LACTICA, a non-governmental organization promoting breastfeeding in Lebanon and Newcastle University in the United Kingdom.
صمّم تطبيق " أهلاً و سهلاً بالرضاعة" على أساس تجارب الأمهات المرضعات لتوفير الأداة المناسبة التي تسمح بالبحث عن الأماكن المرحبة بالرضاعة. تعرض الخريطة جميع الأماكن التي استعرضتها الأمهات.
يمكنكن البحث في تقييم هذه الأماكن من جهة استقبال الموظفين، راحة المقاعد، درجة قبول مستوى الضجيج، وتحديد ما إذا كان المكان منطقة خالية من التدخين. يمكنكن أيضا" التعرف على الموقع وإضافة أية تعليقات.
إذا لم تستطيعي إيجاد أي مكان قريب أو وجدت بقعة جديدة، يمكنك إضافتها لكي تراها الأخريات! إنّ تحديد المكان وتفاصيل العنوان على الخريطة أمر سهل جدا".
"أهلاً و سهلاً بالرضاعة" هو جزء من مشروع بحث تقوم به الجامعة الأميركية في بيروت بالتعاون مع لكتيكا، وهي منظمة غير حكومية تشجع الرضاعة في لبنان وجامعة نيوكاسل في المملكة المتحدة.
